Three ranges are listed: the sailing yacht Desty B and the sailing boats Gammler and Minigammler, with production periods between 1968 and 1986. Small series and home-built boats are insurable with us, and no type sheet is required for that. Your details about the boat carry the valuation.
If papers or data sheets for a Gammler or Minigammler are missing, we rely on your details about the hull, the rig, the sail area and the equipment. From these the agreed value arises, which serves as the basis of compensation in the event of a claim. No deduction for depreciation (new for old) is made in the process.
The third-party liability cover with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis; limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards; races with scoring status you report when taking out the policy.

What should be done if documents for the Desty B are missing?
Describe the hull, the rig, the equipment and any conversions as precisely as possible; photographs help as well. On that basis we arrange the sum insured and the agreed value for your policy.
