Worth knowing
Marine International; cover, cost and conditions
One motor yacht range is recorded, the Marine Exclusiv 39, built since 2003 and to this day. There is thus continuity in a single range over more than two decades. Whether new build or used boat, NAMMERT insures regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
At the beginning of every contract stands third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros. Which amount applies depends on the chosen tariff level; Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium are available. Only on top of that do the limited hull cover and the full hull cover build, which cover the damage to your own vessel.
In the full hull cover an agreed value is set, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Covered are collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Cover also applies in winter storage, when craning, when launching and on the road.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Which tariff levels are available?
Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. They differ in the amount of the third-party liability cover between 10 and 50 million euros and in the scope of benefits, for instance with club races and the age limit in the full hull cover.
Does the full hull cover also cover a grounding?
Yes. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are included. There is no time window and no night clause in this.

Series by Marine International, build years and cover
Marine Exclusiv 39 is a motor yacht from Marine International, built since 2003.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
