Two sailing yacht ranges are recorded for MG Yachts: the MG 30 from the years 1981 to 1987 and the RS34, built from 1983 to 1989. No further ranges are available, and nothing is on file about country, size or construction. We add nothing to this that cannot be substantiated from the data.
Both production periods are closed, but the yachts remain insurable. We insure regardless of the year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and we also accept small series and self-built boats. What counts for the premium are the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range, never the name of the yard.
In full hull cover an agreed value is arranged and compensation is made with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are covered. Club races are included from Basis-Plus onwards, and you report races when taking out the policy.
