The premium follows the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, while the brand stays out of it. Small production runs and home-built boats can be insured, as can boats with several previous owners, because we provide cover regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners.
In the full hull cover the value is fixed as an agreed value and replaced in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Does the number of models built matter?
No. Small production runs and home-built boats can be insured as well. What counts for the contract is the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range of the individual boat.
What applies to the Rose Kotter during its time ashore?
Craning, launching, transit and winter storage are included. Damage in winter storage is already part of the limited hull cover, and the trailer is covered at no extra premium.
