Two model ranges are on record, the Vancouver 27 from 1975 to 1989 and the Vancouver 32 from 1977 to 1990. Both build periods are closed. Yachts with a year of construction from that time find hull cover with us, because we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
The agreed value is the decisive point here. The value is arranged before the contract begins, is stated in the contract and is paid in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff full hull cover knows no age limit, however old the yacht may be.
Covered are collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, and in limited hull cover additionally fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Club races are included from Basis-Plus onwards.

No. The agreed value remains the value that was arranged, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies without any age limit.
What documents do you need for an older yacht?
Details of type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range as well as a list of the permanently installed equipment. From these the sum insured and the agreed value result.
