Five motor yacht ranges are recorded: RAB 720, RAB 830, RAB 880, RAB 980 and RAB Eleven, with years of construction from 1995 and in part up to the present day. Where the yacht sails belongs in the policy, because the cruising range is a premium factor alongside type of boat, value, year of construction and engine power.
For trips outside Germany you receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages. If the planned passage extends beyond the agreed area, we adjust it beforehand, so that cover exists along the entire route.
Four current ranges and one built until 2012 mean boats of differing ages. The full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros online conclusion is possible.

Are there differences between a RAB 720 and a RAB Eleven?

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
