Three sailing yacht ranges are recorded, the Sloop models 10.72, 14.5 and 20.15, all with years of construction from 1991 to 1999. After that the documentation breaks off. We accept yachts from this period without additional conditions, regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
With sailing yachts, the sail area takes the place of the engine power. Together with the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range it produces the premium. The brand plays no part, so a Sloop 20.15 is rated by the same standards as any other yacht of its size.
Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and you state races with scoring status when taking out cover. Full hull cover works with an agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation and in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Third-party liability covers 10 to 50 million euros depending on the level.

How is the premium calculated for a sailing yacht?
According to the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range. Instead of the engine power, the sail area counts here. The name of the yard never enters into the calculation.
Are races included in the hull cover?
Club races from the Basis-Plus tariff upwards. You state races with scoring status when taking out cover so that they are taken into account in the contract and the hull cover applies there as well.
