Three sailing yacht ranges are recorded, the Elvström Cruiser 32, the Elvström 42 and the Elvström Cruiser, with build periods between 1972 and 1989. With sailing yachts the sail area takes the place of the engine output for the premium calculation.
Added to this are type of boat, value, year of build and cruising range. The name of the yard remains without influence on the premium. Club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff level, races with scoring status you declare when taking out the policy. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online.
All three ranges were discontinued before 1990. The age is no obstacle to the contract: we insure regardless of year of build, place of purchase and previous owners, and full hull cover pays up to the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
