Two ranges are listed under Vidaa, the sailing boat Vidaa 19 from 1975 to 1989 and the motor boat Vidaa 20 from 1976 to 1983. Sail and engine therefore sit side by side, which shows in the premium: in one case the sail area counts, in the other the engine output, in each case alongside the value, the year of construction and the cruising range.
Both ranges have been discontinued. For boats of these years compensation is paid on the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without an age limit on the full hull cover. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are covered.
The trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. Launching, craning, transit and winter storage are protected. If a dispute arises after the purchase of a used boat, the legal expenses cover for water sports takes effect, which can be added to the policy.

What should be borne in mind when buying second hand?
