Four sailing yachts are recorded: Naja as well as the Selestra 41, 48 and 61, with production periods between 1976 and 1998. All of them change owner second hand today. If a dispute with the seller or a yard arises after such a purchase, legal expenses cover for water sports applies.
We offer it in addition to third-party liability, limited hull cover and full hull cover. Third-party liability forms the basis with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, selectable in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. From Basis-Plus upwards club races are included.
For the hull cover we agree an agreed value; compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without an age limit. We insure regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners, which counts with yachts from the seventies and eighties.

Does NAMMERT help in disputes with a yard?
Legal expenses cover for water sports is offered alongside and applies in a dispute with a yard or after buying a used boat. It supplements third-party liability and hull cover.
By which criteria is the premium calculated?
By the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the sail area and the cruising range. With motorboats the engine power takes the place of the sail area. The brand has no influence.
