A single model range is documented, the Bestevaer 1000, a motor yacht from the build years 1971 to 1978. Nothing is available about further models, sizes or programme priorities. A vessel from that period reaches a new owner today via the second-hand market, and the contract has to be tailored to this case.
What is decisive, therefore, is the amount that the replacement of an equivalent vessel requires. This value is agreed as an agreed value and recorded in the contract. Full hull cover then pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without an age limit.
The year of construction does not stand in the way, because we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. In the event of a dispute after the purchase, the legal expenses cover for water sports helps, which we offer alongside. NAMMERT cancels an existing policy free of charge as part of the switching service.

On what value is a motor yacht from 1971 compensated?
On the agreed value settled in advance. It is stated in the contract, and full hull cover pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff no age limit applies here.
How high may the sum insured be online?
Up to 2.5 million euros you can take out cover online. If the sum is above that, we assess the individual case and agree cover and agreed value with you individually.
