3B CRAFT Cantiere Navale; cover, cost and conditions

3B Craft is an Italian yard in Fano, on the Adriatic coast of the Marche region. Back in 2019 it was described as a builder with some thirty years in the trade, and its boats are meant for owners who want to fish and cruise from the same deck. One detail stands out: the 25 Express runs a diesel on a conventional shaft, rare in a boat of its class, on a hull hand laid in glassfibre with vinylester resin. The names are easy to read. CC marks a centre console, LX the line whose 335 LX was presented as flagship and an equal split between sportfisher and cruiser, and T the Express, Hard Top and Open boats. The number is close to the length in feet.

Our model records hold 23 3B Craft designs: eight motorboats and 15 motor yachts. Six carry the CC suffix, from the 230 CC to the 330 CC, and three the LX label (270, 300 and 335). The current T range has four models, the T 25 Express, T 27 Express, T31 Express and T31 HT, while ten older T models without the brand in their name run from the T22 Walkaround to the T37 in four versions. The earliest build year is 1999, and ten lines reach into the most recent build years. Lengths run from 6.9 metres (230 CC) to 11.7 metres (T37 Fly, Hard Top and Open Tuna Tower); five models stay under eight metres, ten sit between eight and just over nine, and eight measure ten metres or more.

The centre consoles around seven metres are the boats that travel: towed to a ramp, launched for a morning on the fishing grounds and back on the road by evening, provided the beam allows it. The Express and Hard Top models from ten metres usually keep a marina berth and work as day cruisers with a cabin. A fishing boat gathers salt and bait in every corner, so a freshwater rinse of the deck after each trip pays off, and the older T models from 1999 deserve a close look at hoses and through-hull fittings before the season starts.
