Activa Marine is a motor yacht brand which, according to New Zealand's Power Boat Magazine, was built first in Taiwan and later in China by boatbuilder Charles Chang. The magazine describes hand laid E-glass below the waterline and a vacuum bagged foam or balsa cored composite above it. The four digit number in each name is a handy guide: the first two digits give the approximate length in feet, so a 5800 Pilothouse is close to 59 ft. The word that follows describes the layout, from Sedan and Express to Trawler, Pilothouse, Skylounge or Legacy.
