Three model ranges are recorded: the Nostalgia NKI 102 as a sailing yacht and the Martin NKI 109 and the Lagoon NKI 103 as motor yachts, built between 2001 and 2018. Boats from those years are no longer new boats, and that is precisely where the difference between current market value and agreed value under full hull cover shows.
The agreed value means that the amount set in the contract is decisive and that a deduction for depreciation does not apply. In the Premium tariff this holds with no age limit, so that even a yacht from the first year of construction of a range receives compensation by the same standard. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts are included.
Because the programme comprises sailing and motor boats, the premium calculation differs from boat to boat: in one case through the sail area, in the other through the engine power, plus value, year of construction and cruising range. The brand never enters into the premium. The cover is offered in the Basic, Basic-Plus and Premium levels.

Nostalgia NKI 102 is a sailing yacht from ALA, built from 2001 to 2018.
Martin NKI 109 is a motor yacht from ALA, built from 2002 to 2017.
Lagoon NKI 103 is a motor yacht from ALA, built from 2001 to 2014.
For the Nostalgia NKI 102, Martin NKI 109 and Lagoon NKI 103 by ALA series the market value and
the replacement cost often differ widely.
An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
For the Nostalgia NKI 102 by ALA series:
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts:
a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat,
and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
For the Martin NKI 109, Lagoon NKI 103 by ALA series:
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value.
Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
