We found no reliable source on where the yard is based or how it began, and the Blade name is also used by several unrelated yachts, so this page keeps to the data. The Blade family is built around one size of about 12.5 metres. The suffixes describe the version: Cuddy for a small bow cabin, Open Fish and Light Fisherman for fishing layouts, Sun for a sun deck, and Grand Sport and One K for sportier variants.
Our records list seven Blade models, five motor yachts and two motorboats, the Grand Sport and the Open Fish. Six of them measure 12.53 metres; only the Light Fisherman is shorter at 11.62. The plain Blade and the One K are recorded from 2003, while the other five versions arrived in 2010. The Blade runs to 2015, all the others to 2017. That gives fifteen build years with a clear expansion in 2010.
At over 11 metres a Blade is a berth boat, lifted out for winter and used along the coast. The fishing versions often head well offshore for a day, so rod holders, live wells and electronics see hard use and salt. Rinse the deck after every outing, and keep the engines on a regular service plan.
