Can I insure an ISA through the online calculator?
No, it is too large for that. From this class upwards the cover is built individually. Crew, tenders, charter, berths and the liability limit each need their own agreements.
What changes if the yacht is chartered out?
Charter operation is commercial use. Liability towards guests, changing skippers and higher operating hours are added. That belongs explicitly in the policy, otherwise the basis is missing when it matters.
