Antago Yachts S.r.l. is based in Viareggio on the Tuscan coast and builds large motor yachts with GRP hulls and superstructures; several of its yachts were drawn by the designer Fulvio De Simoni. The names follow two systems. The older metre classes are named after their length, such as the Antago 18m or 27m, while the later models carry numbers like 44, 76 or 110 that loosely track the length in feet.

Our records list twelve Antago models, all motor yachts. The oldest is the 21.9 metre ANTAGO 65, built from 1989 to 1995. Three metre classes, the 18m at 17.85 metres, the 27m at 27.2 and the 32m at 32 metres, appear between 1993 and 2005, and the Antago 60 and 72 Open joined in 1996 and 1998. From 2003 the range shows the 44, 64, 76, 82, 90 and 110, all recorded until 2010. Lengths run from 14.4 metres for the Antago 44 to 32.6 metres for the Antago 110, and five models reach 24 metres or more.

Antago yachts are marina boats by nature, too large for anything but a crane or travel lift, and used for coastal passages and extended stays aboard. GRP hulls ask for less than wood or steel, but gelcoat, deck fittings and the engine room still need yearly attention. Many owners winter them ashore or in a berth under a roof and plan larger refit work around that time.
