Astinor builds motorboats and motor yachts under two naming families that are easy to tell apart. One uses three or four digit numbers close to the length in centimetres: the Astinor 1000 measures 10 metres, the 1150 about 11.5 and the 1275 exactly 12.75. The other uses two digit numbers with the Cruiser suffix, roughly the length in feet, from the 10.8 metre 34 Cruiser to the 16 metre 52 Cruiser. Suffixes such as Flying-Bridge, Fishing, Fisher and LX mark an upper helm, a fishing cockpit or a higher level of finish.
Our model records list 20 Astinor designs, 19 motor yachts and one motorboat, the Astinor 700. The numbered family has twelve models from the 700 to the 1275 LX, six carry the Cruiser suffix, and the Astinor 30 and 52 Fisher complete the list. The 840 opens it in 1993, followed by the 700, 740 and 1000 in 1995, and nine models start in 2003. Sixteen lines reach the latest build years. Lengths run from 7.2 metres (700) to 16 metres (52 Cruiser and 52 Fisher).
The small cabin boats around 8.5 metres can still be lifted out and kept ashore for the winter, while the yachts above 10 metres stay in a marina berth through the season. Fishing versions want their rod holders, live wells and outriggers rinsed after each trip. On older boats from the 1990s, check the engine mounts, the fuel lines and the windows of the flybridge versions for leaks.
