Astra-Marine Oy is recorded with six models, four motor yachts and two motorboats. The core is the Masmar 33 at 10.1 m, listed as open, as pro and in its base version. Above it stand the Masmar 47 at nearly 15 m and the Masmar 75 at 23 m, with the Masmar 220 FRB at 7 m at the lower end. Recorded production runs from 1997 to 2017.
Because the Astra-Marine range spans 7 to 23 m, length, value and cruising area are the decisive entries in the application. The Masmar 33 is mostly run as a fast cruising boat in coastal waters, while the Masmar 75 is another calibre and needs separate assessment. For the older build years from 1997, an agreed value is advisable so that a well kept boat is not written down to market value after a claim. Is winter storage ashore covered?
For boats in northern waters, the period ashore can be included in the hull cover, together with craning and lift-out. On the Masmar range this belongs in the application.
Is the Masmar 220 FRB treated as a leisure boat?
That depends on its use. If the boat is operated commercially, this must be declared, because it is rated differently from purely private boating.
