Worth knowing
Beaufort; cover, cost and conditions
For Beaufort a single range is recorded, the motor yacht Beaufort 800 from the years 1972 to 1979. Further details of size, country or programme are not available. For the insurance cover that is no obstacle, because we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
The basis of every policy is the third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, graded in the tariff levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. It applies when your yacht damages other people's property in the harbour or in the fairway. Only on top of that do the limited hull cover and the full hull cover build.
For a yacht whose production ended decades ago, the limited hull cover is often the entry point: fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage. Anyone who wants to go further chooses the full hull cover with an agreed value and compensation with no deduction for depreciation. We cancel the previous policy free of charge in the switching service.

Series by Beaufort, build years and cover
Beaufort 800 is a motor yacht from Beaufort, built from 1972 to 1979.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
