Besides the theft of individual parts, full hull cover covers collision, grounding and vandalism. Limited hull cover responds in the case of fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Is the outboard covered or does it need its own contract?
Theft of parts including the outboard is contained in full hull cover. A separate contract for the engine is not needed for this, and indemnity is paid according to the agreed value.
What happens if the boat is damaged on the trailer?
The cover applies in transit, during launching, during craning and in winter storage. The boat trailer itself is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.
