Falcon Rib; cover, cost and conditions
Greek RIBs for charter and sport, 8 to 10 metres: the Falcon 850 and 950 have been built since 2010, the 25 and the 32 Cabin since 2015, both ranges to this day. These boats are widespread in the Aegean. Whatever is permanently installed on board belongs in the schedule attached to the contract.
Chart plotter, radio, seat benches, boat cover: electronics and equipment count in the event of a claim if they are listed when cover is taken out. Full hull cover covers vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard; limited hull cover covers the theft of the entire boat as well as fire, storm and lightning strike.
For a cruising area abroad you need proof that can be read there too. The international certificate of insurance is sent to you automatically in ten languages. You state the cruising range when taking out cover; alongside value, year of construction and engine power it feeds into the premium.

Series by Falcon Rib, with value and cover
Falcon 850 / 950 is an inflatable with engine from Falcon Rib (GR), built since 2010,
and today changes hands at between €75,000 and €180,000.
Falcon 25 / 32 Cabin is a motorboat from Falcon Rib (GR), built since 2015,
and today changes hands at between €190,000 and €390,000.
As the Falcon 850 / 950 and Falcon 25 / 32 Cabin by Falcon Rib series are still in production,
parts are available and repair costs are predictable.
Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
For the Falcon 850 / 950 by Falcon Rib series: On an inflatable the cause decides, not the damage:
a tear from impact is covered, porous fabric after years in the sun is not.
The outboard belongs in the policy with its serial number.
For the Falcon 25 / 32 Cabin by Falcon Rib series:
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part.
Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
