More damage occurs in winter storage than many owners expect: storm, fire or theft of equipment affect boats on land as well. Sailing yachts such as the Bianca 36, built from 1972 to 2008, spend many months in storage every winter. At NAMMERT the cover expressly applies there too, as well as during craning, launching and in transit.
The yard's programme was broad: 33 model ranges, alongside sailing yachts such as the Ravage 36, Bianca 111 and Bianca 360 also motorboats of the Rudköbing range from the BF 28 to the BF 48. A Bianca 28 is already insured in our own portfolio. What counts for the contract is the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area, and cruising range, not the brand name.
Production clearly lies in the past, the last model ranges ended in the 2000s, and today the boats change owner second hand. That is no obstacle: the Premium tariff offers full hull cover with no age limit, compensation is paid at the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation, and the hull cover has neither a time window nor a night clause.

My Bianca is stored ashore in winter. Is it protected there just as well as in the water?
Yes, for Bianca Werft too: The limited hull cover expressly covers damage in winter storage,
plus fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat.
Craning, launching and transit are included as well.
Is there an age limit for a sailing yacht from the early Bianca build years?
For Bianca Werft: Not in the Premium tariff.
Even a yacht from the nineteen seventies receives full hull cover with an agreed value,
and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation.
The premium is based on value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range.
