Boomeranger Boats is a Finnish yard that designs and builds rigid inflatable boats. It was founded in 1991 and began delivering boats to professional users in the mid-nineties. Design and construction both take place in Loviisa on the south coast of Finland. The focus is on heavy-duty RIBs for navies, coastguards and government agencies: special operations and air-drop boats, cabin boats, fast rescue boats and expedition boats, many of them adapted to each customer's brief. According to trade reports, buyers have included the German, Norwegian and Swedish navies, Irish Customs and Spain's Guardia Civil. The yard works as an original equipment designer and builder rather than a maker of leisure craft.
