Brandskär Båtar AB is a Swedish yard building tough motorboats for the archipelago and the open coast. Its best known model is the Brandskär 290, an express cruiser 9.8 metres long and 3.18 metres wide, offered on the brokerage market with a Volvo Penta D6 diesel. These boats are made for rough water and long days out. The NG version, short for New Generation, gave the 290 more modern lines and reworked details. A high, sheltered helm, a strong hull and the yard's name on the topsides make a Brandskär easy to pick out.
