Cammenga was a Dutch builder of large motor yachts that no longer exists. Its best known series is the Pacific 85, a yacht of about 26 metres drawn by De Vries Lentsch and built on a steel displacement hull. Boats like this are made for quiet cruising around ten knots and long range, not for planing. The model names read like a map of the oceans: Nordsee, Noordzee-S, Atlantic, Pacific and Oceanic. On the Atlantic 72, Pacific 85 and Oceanic 100 the number is roughly the length in feet. Two schooners, listed as motorsailers, complete the picture.
