Chung Hwa Boat Building is a yard in Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan, known for trawler yachts with solid GRP hulls. Its boats went out to buyers around the world under several names, among them CHB and Nordsee Trawler, which is why the same builder turns up under different labels in papers and listings. A CHB is a Chung Hwa. The boats show a timeless motor yacht profile on a sturdy hull built for long passages. Numbers in the model names are close to the length in feet, and names such as Banker, Puget Sound and Taiwan Clipper hint at the markets the boats were built for.
