For the insurance cover this is of no relevance, because classification is based solely on the data of the individual boat.

If a policy is already running for your boat, NAMMERT takes over the change and cancels the previous policy free of charge. You state the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range and choose between Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. We handle the correspondence with the previous insurer.

Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online. The full hull cover pays according to the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff without any age limit. The boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and the cover also applies in winter storage and while in transport. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
