German law applies; only the German wording is binding.
This English text is a courtesy so you can read what you buy, not a contract document.
Where the two differ, the German text decides:
A-3.1 to A-3.1.1: same wording in Hull Basis Plus, clause A-3
A-3.1.2 Natural forces such as storm and hail, lightning strike and earthquake.
A-3.1.3 Fire and explosion. Fire means a fire with flames that arose without a hearth intended for it, or left such a hearth, and is able to spread under its own power. Explosion is a suddenly occurring release of force based on the tendency of gases or vapours to expand. In addition, scorch damage to upholstery and furniture of the craft is also co-insured.
A-3.1.4: same wording in Hull Basis Plus, clause A-3
A-3.2 Co-insured are inspection costs arising as a result of a grounding notified to us.
