Where the two differ, the German text decides:
permanent impairment is determined by the schedule of limb values (A-2.1.2.2.1), so far as the affected parts of the body, sensory organs or internal organs are named there, and otherwise by the extent to which normal physical or mental capacity is permanently impaired (A-2.1.2.2.2). The decisive factor is the state of health caused by the accident that is recognisable at the latest at the end of the third year after the accident. This applies both to the first and to any later assessment of the permanent impairment (A-8.4).
