Anyone taking over a boat of the Event ranges today buys second or third hand: the Event 500 and Event 750 motor boats were built until 2009, the Event 850 motor yacht until 2010. For such takeovers the replacement value counts and not the purchase price. NAMMERT therefore agrees an agreed value which applies in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

Alongside the motor boats, the Event 34 and the Event 30fw were two sailing yachts in the programme, built until 2008 and until 2007 respectively. Whether sail or motor decides the premium: with sailing yachts the sail area feeds into the calculation, with motor boats the engine power. The brand plays no part in this.

In every case third-party liability forms the basis and can be chosen with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. Cover does not end at the pontoon: winter storage, craning, launching and the transport route are included, and a boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
