Anyone taking over a used boat should base the sum insured on the actual replacement value, not on the previous purchase price. For smaller brands there are often only a few documents available. That is no obstacle for the contract, because at NAMMERT the premium depends on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range, never on the brand name. So for an Alltechnik boat you receive a quotation under the same rules as for any large series yard.
In the full hull cover the protection includes collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard; the limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Cover also applies during craning, launching and on the transport route, and a boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
