Eighteen model ranges are recorded, among them the AK 26 in the Daycruiser, Fishing and Weekend versions, the Ancora 13 as a sailing boat and motor yachts such as the Ancora 40 Lightning, 44 Sealife and 52 Seaking. The build periods run from 1971 to 2008. For the smaller units in this range, the journey by trailer and slipway belongs in the cover as well.
The boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. Cover does not end at the jetty; it applies during craning, during launching, on the road and in winter storage.
Whether motor boat or sailing boat, the premium follows the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine output or sail area and the cruising range. Boats from the seventies and eighties can be insured just as readily as newer ones, because we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.

Does the trailer have to be insured separately?
No. The boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium, without a separate policy or a surcharge being needed.
Does cover also apply during craning in the autumn?
Yes. Craning, launching, transport and winter storage are included.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
On boats this size the condition of rig and fittings decides. A dismasting is covered, worn terminals after years are not.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
