Alu Marine, known in the Netherlands as Alumarine, builds sailing yachts in aluminium. Broker documents name the yard together with Mariteam as the builder of the Concord 47. The lines came from the office of Dick Koopmans Jr. together with Busman, and the yard had its own hand in the deck and cockpit. Hull, deck and superstructure are made of seawater resistant AlMg aluminium alloy, with teak laid on deck. The Concord 47 is recognised by her deck saloon with all round view, a fin keel with a lead bulb and a cherry wood interior. The yard belongs to the Dutch tradition of sturdy metal yachts for long passages.
