Production is completed and lies in the past, as all three ranges ended at the beginning of the nineties. That changes nothing for taking out a policy, because we provide insurance regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The value agreed is recorded as the agreed value and compensated with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old").
We have no details about sizes, method of construction or origin, and they do not enter into the premium in any case. What matters is type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range. The third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis in all three tariff levels.
