The basis of every contract is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, graduated according to the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium tariff levels.
Damage to someone else's yacht or to a jetty can reach the sum that a third-party liability policy covers. The limit of indemnity you choose therefore determines how far the cover reaches. Hull cover is added as limited hull cover or full hull cover, depending on the value and use of the boat.
For sailing yachts the premium is based on the sail area rather than the engine output, together with the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and races with ranking status are declared when you take out the policy.
