Four sailing yacht ranges are on record: La bete malouine, La bete servatine, La railleuse and La bete servantine. The build periods lie between 1965 and 1975, so production was a long time ago. With boats of these years, the agreed value determines what is available in the event of a loss.
In full hull cover an agreed value is set and claims are settled with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff this applies with no age limit. For a sailing yacht from the 1960s or 1970s this means that the value is fixed before the loss and is not scaled down after the event.
Boats of these years change hands on the second-hand market. Legal expenses cover for water sports is offered alongside and applies in disputes following the purchase of a used boat or with a yard. You do not have to take over the previous owner's contract, because we insure regardless of previous owners.
