At the beginning there is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Limited hull cover and full hull cover build on that. What counts for the premium are the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range, not the name of the yard.
An agreed value records the agreed worth, and indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Small production runs and home-built boats can be insured as well. The boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the transport route. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
