Worth knowing
Blue Line; cover, cost and conditions
Between October and April the boat usually stands ashore, and that is exactly where many losses occur. For sailing yachts such as the Blue Dane 32 or the Blue Queen 45, NAMMERT cover also applies in winter storage, during craning and during launching, and limited hull cover expressly comprises damage in winter storage.
Three ranges with years of construction between 1973 and 1987 are recorded, among them the smaller sailing boat Blue Dina 25; production lies in the past. A build period that lies in the past is no obstacle to the contract, because we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
For the premium, the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range count, not the brand. In full hull cover the agreed value secures the value agreed, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.

What is covered during the time ashore?
For Blue Line: Cover applies in winter storage, during craning, launching and in transit.
In limited hull cover, damage in winter storage is expressly included.
Does the year of construction matter for acceptance?
No, not for Blue Line either: We insure regardless of year of construction,
place of purchase and previous owners.

Series by Blue Line, build years and cover
Blue Dane 32 is a sailing yacht from Blue Line, built from 1973 to 1987.
Blue Dina 25 is a sailing boat from Blue Line, built from 1975 to 1984.
Blue Queen 45 is a sailing yacht from Blue Line, built from 1976 to 1983.
For the Blue Dane 32, Blue Dina 25 and Blue Queen 45 by Blue Line series there is no list price
left.
That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it,
and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
For the Blue Dane 32, Blue Queen 45 by Blue Line series:
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts:
a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat,
and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
For the Blue Dina 25 by Blue Line series:
On boats this size the condition of rig and fittings decides.
A dismasting is covered, worn terminals after years are not.
