A single range is recorded under the name Blue Water, the Starlight, built from 1974 to 1998. Further details on the programme or the production are not available to us. For the insurance that is enough, because the basis of every contract is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros.
A sailing yacht from those years is bought used today. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners and record the value as an agreed value in the contract. In the Premium tariff the age limit does not apply, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation.
Beyond third-party liability, limited hull cover and full hull cover are available. Limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage, full hull cover additionally collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts. Starlight is a sailing yacht from Blue Water, built from 1974 to 1998.
For the Starlight by Blue Water series there is no list price left.
That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it,
and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
