Bucklers Hard Boat Builders works from Hythe Marina on Southampton Water and keeps a sales office on the bank of the Beaulieu River, at the Agamemnon Boat Yard in the New Forest. The yard takes its name from HMS Agamemnon, the 64 gun ship built there and later commanded by a young Captain Horatio Nelson. Today the business offers boatyard services from maintenance to repair, and it is tied to two families of boats. It built several BH 46 cruising yachts drawn by the Laurent Giles design office, and it fitted out motor yachts of the Nelson line, among them the Nelson 40, 45 and 42 Mk II, whose hulls trace back to TT Boat Designs and the designer John Askham.
