Cantieri Navali Di Donna is based in Gaeta, on the coast of Lazio. Pasquale Di Donna founded the yard in 1960 after learning ship carpentry in several Gaeta yards during the 1940s and 1950s. Its boats follow the gozzo, the traditional Italian fishing boat, keeping the classic lines while turning the hull into a planing form. A signature detail is the teak deck with black seams: the strips are laid on mahogany panels that go onto the fibreglass deck in one piece. Every model in our data carries the name Serapo, after a sandy bay just west of Gaeta.
