CORAL YACHT boats come from Centrum Motorowodne CORALYACHT in Poland, a business run by Jarosław Brdęk. The yard builds compact cabin motorboats with glassfibre hulls, rated in design category C for sheltered coastal waters, bays, lakes and rivers. The Coral 690 and Coral 750 come as a hardtop and as a sport cruiser. A Coral 750 Hard Top has a beam of 2.55 metres and weighs around 1,900 kilograms, the Coral 690 about 1,300 kilograms. Boats are offered with outboard or inboard engines, often with a bow thruster, chartplotter, galley with fridge and a heads with shower. The hardtop versions are easy to spot by the fixed roof over the helm.

A hardtop should be watertight at its seals, since leaks show up as stains in the headlining. Test the bow thruster, the heater if fitted, and the plotter before buying. The trailer itself, with brakes, bearings and tyres, deserves the same attention as the boat.
