Dellapasqua DC is an Italian yard at Marina di Ravenna on the Adriatic, founded in 1959. It builds in glassfibre and keeps the whole process in house, from laying up the hulls to the finished fit-out. The yard puts weight on tailoring each boat to its owner and describes its approach as personalisation in every direction. Alongside the motor yachts it builds work boats and houseboats, and it also handles used boats, charter and boat storage. The boats are easy to place: the letters DC followed by a number that roughly gives the length in metres, and the Elite and SL lines offered side by side in many sizes.

Our model records list 17 designs, 14 motor yachts and three motorboats, and every one of them reaches into the most recent build years. The DC 13 Elite has the longest run, from 2002, followed by the DC 7 Elite from 2003, while most other designs start in 2012. The SL line has seven sizes, from the DC 9 SL at 10.91 metres up to the DC 18 SL, and the Elite line six, from the DC 7 Elite to the DC 18 Elite. The DC 7 and DC 8 complete the list together with the DC Seven and DC Seven Sport at 7.75 metres from 2016. The DC 7 Elite is the smallest at 7.47 metres, the two DC 18 models the largest at 17.98 metres. Eleven designs measure ten metres or more.

Because every Dellapasqua is fitted out to order, no two used boats are quite alike, and the specification sheet is worth reading line by line. On the larger SL and Elite yachts, check the engine hours and service records, shaft seals, generator and air conditioning, and the state of the bilge. Teak decks, windows and hatch seals are typical maintenance points on any motor yacht that spends summers in the Adriatic sun. The smaller DC Seven and DC 7 are day and weekend boats, where the steering, the fuel system and the cockpit upholstery show how well the boat has been kept.
