Dromeas Yachts is a young yard from Turkey. The Turkish Olympic sailor Efe Kuyumcu founded it in 2007, and production started at the company's own plant in Izmir. Hulls are built from vacuum infused epoxy and glass sandwich with low weight and high strength in mind, and the range runs from 28 to 38 feet. The boats are recognisable by a deep V hull with two steps, drawn for the D28 by Adam Younger, and by the big outboards on the transom. The D28 comes as the CC cabin boat, the enclosed SUV and the WA walkaround. In 2022 Dromeas opened an office at Hamble Point Marina on the English south coast, and production of the 28 and 33 series later moved to Poland.

WA stands for walkaround: a side deck runs around the cabin to the bow, and the cockpit aft can be fitted out for fishing, day trips or weekends away.
