From Greece come one-off builds for the charter market, listed under the name O'Pari with lengths from 70 to 95 metres and years of construction from 2010 onwards. There is no series production with several ranges here. For one-off builds, the list of equipment and electronics becomes the basis of the agreed value.
Whatever is permanently installed on board should be recorded before the policy starts and included in the agreed value. Claims are then settled with no deduction for depreciation. Taking out cover online ends at a sum insured of 2.5 million euros; above that we carry out an individual assessment.
For vessels of this size the sum insured is regularly above this limit, so we draw up the quotation individually. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis, and you receive the international certificate of insurance in ten languages.
