The basis of every policy is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. On top of that sits the limited hull cover with fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage; the full hull cover adds collision, grounding and vandalism.
The value is agreed as an agreed value and, in the event of a claim, replaced with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online. Cover also applies in winter storage, during craning, launching and on the transport route.
