Huckins Yacht has been building boats on the Ortega River in Jacksonville, Florida, since Frank Pembroke Huckins set up the company in 1928, and the third generation of the owning family runs it today. The yard's signature is the Quadraconic hull, named after the four conical sections that shape its bottom. Yachts are built one at a time, and each name pairs a number with a line name such as Sportsman, Atlantic or Linwood.
