Jaguar C 53, Jaguar C 57 and Tiger C 42 are the three recorded motor yacht ranges, built from 1971 to 1981. After that the record ends. Anyone taking over such a yacht today buys it used, and that is exactly what our policy is designed for.
When buying used, what counts is what is replaced in the event of a claim. We agree a value that corresponds to the replacement value, and claims are settled with no deduction for depreciation. In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies without any age limit, regardless of the year of construction of the yacht.
A dispute after the purchase of a used boat or with a yard is not a hull insurance case. For that we also offer legal expenses cover for water sports. If you switch from an existing policy, we cancel the previous policy free of charge so that cover passes over without a gap.
