Mirage Boats; cover, cost and conditions
For Mirage Boats, 57 model ranges are recorded. For the Sting models 485 S, 530, 535 Pro, 600 Pro, 610 BR, 610 DC, 610 S and 630 Fast Track the type of boat is recorded as a motor boat, with years of construction since 2010 and up to the present day. For the remaining ranges our records list no type of boat.
For the premium, type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and the cruising range count, never the brand. Full hull cover works with an agreed value and settles claims with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts are covered.
Limited hull cover comprises fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Cover also exists during craning, during launching and while in transport, and the boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability free of charge from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. The basis remains third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros.

As the Sting 485 S, Sting 530, Sting 535 Pro by Mirage Boats and 17 more series are still in
production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable.
Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
For the Sting 475 Pro, Sting 485,
Sting 700 WE by Mirage Boats and 15 more series the market value and the replacement cost often
differ widely.
An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
For the Mirage 182 TB, Mirage 202 TC,
Mirage 211 TC by Mirage Boats and 16 more series there is no list price left.
That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it,
and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
For the Sting 485 S, Sting 530, Sting 535 Pro by Mirage Boats and further series:
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part.
Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
For the Great Harbour GH 37, Great Harbour GH 47,
Great Harbour GH 74 by Mirage Boats and further series:
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value.
Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
For the Mirage 430, Mirage 420, Mirage 480 VTR by Mirage Boats and further series:
Even without an engine the rule holds: a tear from impact or vandalism is covered,
UV ageing is wear.
